| Mexican holiday celebrated November 1st & 2nd...it coincides with Halloween/Samhain. The veil between the worlds of the living and the dead, grow thin and the spirits of the dead walk the earth to visit with the living. Altars, called "ofrendas" are made to honor the deceased. Graves are visited and decorated with bright flowers and the favorite food and drink of the dearly departed. Although our loved ones have passed onto another realm, they live on within our hearts. |
