| "My paintings explore what is hidden and what lies deep within the unconscious. They are like mirrors, reflecting what is inside. The wild mother that lives inside all women and has been kept locked away, only to emerge at a later time. The archetypal she, the myth. To go into the dark of the unconscious is sometimes the only way to give birth to the light. Most of my paintings are set in the desert. The desert representing the great void that we all must cross to sometimes find the truth." |
